Stichting Barátok România

Hodod is located in northwestern Romania. Both Romanian and Hungarian are spoken in this part of the country. The municipality of Hodod has about 5000 inhabitants, divided into four villages: Hodod, Nadișu, Lelei and Giurtelecu. It is an agricultural area.

The Barátok România Foundation is located in Heteren, in the center of the Netherlands. A group of enthusiastic members from Heteren supports the foundation. 'Barátok' is the Hungarian word for 'friends'.

What the Barátok România Foundation strives for is to promote friendship through structural help along short lines with mutual respect, whereby responsibilities are in principle placed with the target group.
